Job Description

We have an opening for a Production Scheduler. The Production Scheduler will manage production planning and the scheduling process, as well as be a liaison between the Production department and our Sales team. The Production Scheduler determines production requirements and releases and reschedules orders as needed, to meet customer requirements. They perform functions associated with the generation and maintenance of the production plan and master production schedule. The Scheduler will also reconcile production/material conflicts, analyze component availability to maintain production schedule, and manage WIP inventory. This role will be responsible for collaborating with several departments, as well as third party vendors to ensure the on-time delivery of high-quality bearings and seals.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Knowledge of MRP/ERP applications.
  • BA/BS degree in business administration, operations management, or equivalent experience is preferred but not required.
  • 2+ years planning experience with working knowledge of a quick-turn, low volume, engineer-to-order production environment is preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Engineering print and BOM reading skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to build effective working relationships within the organization.
  • Strong PC skills including Microsoft Office software suites.
  • Ability to see the larger picture, as well as the detailed steps needed to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
  • Ability to work under pressure without compromising attention to detail.
  • Basic machining knowledge.

The wage range for this position is commensurate to your experience.
