Position Summary

This opening is for a Machinist at Woodex Bearing Company, Inc. It is a full-time, long-term position within our growing company. This position will require the applicant to perform several duties within the general scope of their title, as well as beyond that on occasion. The position’s main duties include but are not limited to the following.

• Material Preparation.
• CNC Machining – Setup machine, drill, mill & profile metal and plastic components.
• Manual Machining – Set up machine, drill, tap, cut & mill metal and plastic components on a manual machine.
• Work with others in the MECO Shop to increase manufacturing efficiency by periodically reviewing processes.

Qualifications & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Technical school with CNC machine operations or equivalent work experience.
• HAAS Experience is a plus.
• Strong work ethic.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organization and time management.
• Good team working skills.
• Ability to sit/stand/walk for 8 - 10 hour shift & lift up to 35 pounds.

Pay is competitive and commensurate with experience. Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
